Hello,

Well over the last few months i have tried many distros. Most slack or Debian Based. Slack 9.1/current, kanotix, Debian Sid, Knoppix, Morphis, Mepis etc. And i personally have had the best luck with Mepis or Slack. Although i must say that with all the distros i've tried there is no doubt that "apt-get" has lived up to the hype for me personally.

But for me the bottom line leads me back to this forum. What this means is that although i love a couple of the debian based distros i also have greatly enjoyed Slack. And the community here has been w/ out a doubt the main thing that leads me back to Slack. Swaret is good and though, i pray that a package system which automatically addresses dependencies makes it's way into Slack, the community here is 2nd to none!!!!!! I have posted to many forums, computer related as well as others and i have never run into a group more willing to help .thanks alot and be blessed.

yeah confirmed and slackware forum own record of posts of all distributions in this site (actually 69434 posts and 10740 threads, the second Mandrake own just 27367 posts and 5165 threads)
