Using TS SHARA UPS in Slackware

ok, I know this is a long shot, but I'll try anyway...

Does anyone here have experience with a TS SHARA UPS under Slackware or other Linux flavors?

It has a USB port that shows up under lsusb as:
Code:
Bus 004 Device 009: ID 0483:0035 SGS Thomson Microelectronics
I tried the nut 2.4.1 software, but none of the usual drivers (usbhid-ups / megatec_usb) wants to recognize it.

If anyone can give me some directions...
