Question USB ADSL modem and Slack


I really would like some help on getting my adsl modem supplied by telkom south africa working with slackware 9 ..\


All help i can get will be nice

Is it a globespan modem? If so this could work (you can check if your modem's supported here too)

Try typing "adsl-setup" as root. Then after filling everything in, try typing "adsl-start". If it works, you will see something like:

... Connected!

If not, then... well, then you can try the suggestion above.
