TOR from slackbuilds - certs don't match

Everytime I try to download Tor with sbopkg, it tells me that it's the wrong certificate. That's strange... Normally I would download without checking but with TOR this is another thing, since it's a security tool. Do you have the same issue?

Yes, this is perfectly normal. Appending --ca-certificate=/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt to WGETFLAGS or simply running c_rehash as root should do the trick.

Your caution isn't unwarranted, by the way: Tor seems to have been targetted in the DigiNotar fiasco, so make sure you fetch todays Slackware updates as soon as possible (if you haven't purged the certificates by hand already).

Thanks that works! I thought wget is using ca_certificates by default if they are installed :-)

...Strange things are happening...
