You can get the testing packages here: http://ponce.cc/slackware/testing/CDE/ It bears repeating that since it is in 'testing', you might experience the same things I have. It is best not to use dtlogin if you are on runlevel4, but another login manager instead, and I still haven't figured out why it will not retain settings changes after a logout. Remember also to follow the instructions after installation, since there are some tweaks you have to make - such as running rpc in an insecure mode. That is also why I would recommend you do this on a test system, or VM and not your actual production system.
-edit
Looks like the packages are for 14.1 , and I installed the packages on 14.2 so maybe that is why I was experiencing the issues, I do not know. No harm either way, as it was a VM but I would be open to using CDE if these little issues could be ironed out and moved out of testing phase.
I asking for a small request. Is it possible to swap the thundercat logo with the slackware logo? Or make the thundercat a darker grey like the slackware one.
