tcl 8.6

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum in which to enquire about package versions - but I was wondering when we could expect tcl 8.6 to appear in the official slackware packages? I am trying to learn tcl at the moment and I have inferred that 8.6 is an appreciable step forward from 8.5.

You could compile yourself which is quite easy (better still using modified slackbuild from official slackware source tree: ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/s...nt/source/tcl/ )

But you can use a whole bundle with many bateries included from here: http://www.activestate.com/activetcl/downloads

witek: I could do, but I tend to reserve slackbuilds for packages which are not provided by slackware and wait patiently for the main repository to catch up with new releases.
