Slax Ndis

Well, I am using the slax live CD and I was wondering how to set up the NDIS wrapper because there are no linux drivers for the Wireless Adapter WU830G. I downloaded the ndis source, but for some reason I can't use the make command on SLAX, and there is no manual for it either.

Does the version of SLAX you're using ship with autoconf, automake and gcc (you will probably need kernel-sources as well)?

Also, instead of trying to set up ndiswrapper with a Live CD, perhaps you should consider just installing Slackware itself and then setting up ndiswrapper instead?

well, I have an update.... it slax ships with the ndis wrapper... but for some reason I can't get it to work....

ndiswrapper -i <the driver.inf>
modprobe ndiswrapper

It shows no errors, but when I type iwconfig there are no wireless devices.
