Slackware Linux Essentials <--- is this a good book ?

Is this book too basic, or does it go into detail and stuff ? I would like to know the differences with slackware and other distro's.
Especially about the init scripts and stuff like that.

Is this a book a good choice ?

It's a little out of date but still usable. These are also good choices:
The Unofficial Revised Slackware Book Project
SlackFAQ
Slackware Tips & Tricks
