Hi,

The legacy catalyst driver does not support Xorg Server 1.14 and 3.10 kernel, so i stick with opensource radeon driver. Everything works like a charm (even better comparing to slackware 14.0 with catalyst), except rdesktop session to my virtual xp machine. When I try to type something, it takes 0,5-1 second to draw symbol on display. With proprietary drivers, typing was really fast. If i add "NoAccel" option to xorg configuration then rdesktop session is fast again but this option cause problems on other apps (mplayer, chrome, etc..).

Is it posible to turn off hardware acceleration only for specific
applications (rdesktop)?

Is it any other solution (radeon tweak) to this problem.

Thank god, at last i found a solution:

Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
Option "EXAPixmaps" "off"

for even better performance, xfce display compositing must be enabled...
