What's wrong with the bittorrent download? Downloadspeeds are about 400 KB/sec over here using bittorrent . No need to wait for mirrors. http://www.slackware.org/torrents/index.html

So, if I'm running current with a 2.6.7 kernel isn't this 10?

If you installed the latest updates your current has become 10.0.0

I'm going to try making my own iso from the slack-current tree (this will be my first attempt).............just updated the whole tree last night on my machine and will follow the instructions in the isolinux directory..........

now speed in increasing ~ 55 kb/s .. 5/6 hrs for each iso ( 1 & 2 ) will leave my pc on over night sharing bandwidth with you guys ( 10Mbit speed )

zzzzZZzzleeping ( dreaming of fresh slack isos )
