have you checked with texlive's maintainer?
I think it's the best person that can have a look on that.
I think I read somewhere he's also about to update the texlive's version, so maybe that can help too...
Ok, for those of you who also get the same error during compiling ufraw (after the last batch of current-updates ufraw has to be rebuilt) with gcc 7.1:
Code:
dcraw.cc:9245:25: error: call of overloaded ‘abs(unsigned int&)’ is ambiguous
if (abs(i) < abs(c)) {
^

from dcraw.cc:36:
/usr/include/stdlib.h:751:12: note: candidate: int abs(int)
extern int abs (int __x) __THROW __attribute__ ((__const__)) __wur;
Is this also in the 'master-repository?' I always sync before compiling anything, but did not see the patches or changes in the ufraw.SlackBuild in my local tree after that...
BTW, that patch you include is another one than the two mentioned in my post.. thus could there be (at least) three different bottlenecks (relating to different cameras)?
The ufraw-patch patches an error -thrown in my case- at line 8766
the fedora-patch is for line 2285
and the suse-one you used is for line 9240

No... in a few different ways. First, this is a completely separate repo from SBo's official repo. Second, the master branch within ponce's repo mirrors SBo's master branch (and it is updated when there's public updates on SBo). Third, ponce has a "current" branch which contains all the adjustments to the master branch to allow SlackBuilds to compile on -current. The current branch is the default branch for ponce's repo and the one people should be using when using his repo on -current.
Hello,
I can't compile Audio > muse (2.1.2) software in my current Slackware.
The error is as follows:
/tmp/SBo/muse-2.1.2/muse/midiedit/ecanvas.cpp:277:86: error: call of overloaded ‘abs(unsigned int)’ is ambiguous
unsigned int neartk=abs(nearest->x() + nearest->part()->tick() - tick);
