/sbin/ldconfig and X problems

hi

I installed Slackware 10
I have deleted the 2.4 src files under /usr/src/
after compiling kernel 2.6.7 and the nvidia drivers for it, I got those error messages during boot, and X won't start properly anymore:

Code:
/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.0.5336 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libGL.so is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1.0.5336 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXvMCNVIDIA.so.1.0.5336 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXvMCNVIDIA_dynamic.so.1 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXvMCNVIDIA.so.1 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXvMCNVIDIA.so is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.
What have I done wrong? How can I fix it?
thanks in advance!!

I got it fixed. I just had to recompile my kernel(2.6.7) with 8 instead of 4k stacks (under kernel hacking), then compile the nvidia drivers once more, and it worked. see http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...55#post1016055
That's where I got the solution
