SANE detects scanner but unable to use it

Hi,

Sane detects my scanner, but when I run it it says that soemthing like

failed to open device:snapscan:libusb:002 Invalid Arguments

I know that the scanner is detect because on sane-find-scanner the output is:
Quote:
# No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter.

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a5 [Color], product=0x20b0 [ FlatbedScanner 22]) at libusb:005:002
# Your USB scanner was (probably) detected. It may or may not be supported by
# SANE. Try scanimage -L and read the backend's manpage.

# Not checking for parallel port scanners.

# Most Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports
# can't be detected by this program.
I have scanned in linux before (with sane and kooka), so I dont think that its something to do with incompatibility

Well it does give some kind of warning about scaning as root, but It's completely non-sensical making an app which warns the user about running it in root, scanning with full privileges poses no threat to the security, and integrity of the computer in ANY WAY!!!

Now last time when I used to scan, I used to do it in root.

and this is the error it gives:

Quote:
failed to open device:snapscan:libusb:002 Invalid Arguments
