Resize xfs partition

Hello Slackers,

Could anyone point me in the right direction to resizing my partition table below? What I would like to do is, take hda4 and merge it with hda1 my root partition. Is this possible? I haven't been able to find out.Xfs growts looks scarry to me.

Number Start End Size Type File system Flags
1 32.3kB 15.0GB 15.0GB primary xfs boot
2 15.0GB 16.0GB 1003MB primary linux-swap(new)
3 16.0GB 26.0GB 10.0GB primary xfs
4 26.0GB 40.0GB 14.0GB primary

Thanks,

Fibster, aka Todd

It looks to me like your best bet would be to make a backup of all of the partitions except the swap partition. Then boot a live Linux CD and repartition the drive the way that you want it. Then restore the partition data from backup.
