Raid & slackware 9.0

ok ive tried to install lilo in simple and expert mode it doesnt want to when it boots it does this 040404040400440404040404040404404 then ask for system disk. I am trying to dual boot slackware 9.0 and Windows 2000 advanced server. I have raid striping set up on 4 seperate drives.
the first drive (array 0) has windows on it. In linux it is noticed as /dev/hde, the linux is on a seperate drive. it is located on a partioned 80 gig that is stripped its labeled /dev/hdg1 /dev/hdg2 /dev/hdg3 the root part of linux is mounted on /dev/hdg3 the swap is on /dev/hdg2 and the ntfs partition is on /dev/hdg1 the lilo.conf will not write correctly. and im new to setting up the lilo config so please any suggesstions would be greatly appreciated.

The number sequence would confirm that you have a lilo boot issue. Check the /etc/lilo.conf file to make sure that it is being installed on /dev/hdg1. (boot=/dev/hdg1) Then run the command "lilo" to write the file to the boot sect of the partition. You may also need to update the program that you are using as a boot manager. If Windows then I think you need to transfer the first 512 bytes of the partition /dev/hdg1 to a file for windows to read. If using Windows, then this sequence needs to be repeated each time you write a new boot record.

Perhaps it will help. You have a fairly complicated setup and without having all the hardware in front of me it is difficult to make any recommendations.
