Hey LQusers

I'm having an issue with install an application called Nova client for Openstack. It's python based but it failed to install with a few errors for example, of course the error code is much longer:

PHP Code:
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/distutils/dist.py"line 972in run_command

    cmd_obj
.run()

File "<string>"line 13in replacement_run

  File
"/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/setuptools/command/egg_info.py"line 379in write_pkg_info

    metadata
.write_pkg_info(cmd.egg_info)

File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/distutils/dist.py"line 1106in write_pkg_info

    self
.write_pkg_file(pkg_info)

File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/distutils/dist.py"line 1118in write_pkg_file

    self
._write_field(file'Metadata-Version'version)

File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/distutils/dist.py"line 1145in _write_field

    file
.write('%s: %s\n' % (nameself._encode_field(value)))

File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/distutils/dist.py"line 1154in _encode_field

if isinstance(valueunicode):

RuntimeErrormaximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Python object
The Install guide is here; http://www.rackspace.com/knowledge_c...nux-and-mac-os

Can anyone suggest what to do to get this installed?

Many thanks!!

Do you have all the dependencies like setuptools ? Did you run the installation under sudo as the instructions mention ?
