If I get you correctly, importing windoze design also imports windoze weaknesses, insecurities and suckage. I remember the victory it was when XP reduced BSOD events (courtesy Win98) from one a day or two, to one a month, and you might get a year between reinstalls if you were a very good lad.
And we're all using pulseaudio, that tries hard to emulate that
You're not cheering us up, Pithium. I thought the obvious way to do that was to take the input (alsa drivers) and required outputs, and go from there.
