Thumbs down Problem with internet


Hi
since some weeks i'm having problems with internet, the internet just stop working and i can't find a way to make it work (without restart)

dmesg give me this logs when that happen:

that log repeat again and again.
i tried '/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 restart' but when the network restart it doesn't get internet ip
i restart the computer and it works fine.

i don't know how to reproduce the problem, any suggestion i will tried the next time it happen

some info:
Kernel: 2.6.24.3
network card: 3Com Corporation 3c905B 100BaseTX (eth1)

I am seeing a simaliar issue, twice in a month my slack12 box has lost its way to the network It has a static ip and when I reboot its fine. Any Ideas

Try unplugging/turning off your modem and/or router briefly and then try
Code:
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 restart
If you unlplug them both plug the modem back in first and wait for it to settle. Then plug your router back in.

Alternatively, you can tell your router (if you are using one) to renew its IP.
