Printers....


Hi,

So... I have a printer, Brother DocuPrint P8ex, well configured slackware 12 + cups and no drivers for the printer. What should I do ?

I have done a little research and it does not look good or easy. I presume you are talking about a Xerox P8ex printer. You might check this place out

Get foomatic and the .ppd file from the link above and you should be good to go. Use the web interface to install it. Let us know how it goes.

Ok. I just made it working but only when it's usb connected. Could anybody tell me how to get it working when it's connected via Serial Port ( #1 ) ?
