postfix any taker ?

I wanted to run own MTA since quite long, but now it is time, where I've already my DNS running in acceptable state.

After googling n reading around, I gave qmail a try, but the compilation ended with some error (slackware current), no lust to dig furhter. I looked at http://www.postfix.com, downloaded the 1.5 mb source, now am on cooking postfix. The postfix source seemed quite often released compared to qmail codes is somewut from 1998, further more postifx is mirrored some tens of mirror, while qmail is available only on a handfull mirrors (peace with the compare of them, now just stepping with postfix ..

Ne takers ?
