pkgtool and empty folders

After removing some packages with pkgtool, it reported that it wouldn't get rid of the empty folders it left behind. Is there a tool or a quick and clean way to get rid of these empty folders?

Did you check it wasn't lying to you? :)
I just checked for a few of my removed packages
and found the subdirs to be gone ...
