Pan crashes in the moment when I click the send-button

Hello,

I'm running Slackware64-current. The newsreader pan crashes in the moment when I click the send-button. The message is sent anyway.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I would run pan from a terminal, and when it crashes, look to see what kind of warnings and/or error messages are being sent to STDERR.

I've tried that, the result was that I could send a message without crash. But afterwards I started "strace pan" which caused after some clicks and mousemovements within pan the X-server to freeze.
