i newbie in slackware. can the expert answer my question.

1. now i'm try to configure openwebmail with postfix. i got fqdm. already setup bind n postfix. my problem now is i can't run openwebmail and the error is :

./openwebmail-tool.pl: /usr/bin/suidperl: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

pls help me. or can anybody suggest me other webmail.


2. may i know, apache module comes with slack 10.1 already installed php??

1) Of course you need the perl package in the d serie. But it seems, where is no suidperl program. You can try (as root):
ln /usr/bin/perl /usr/bin/suidperl
chmod u+s /usr/bin/suidperl
But I not sure I will work. After your installation, I suggest you to remove /usr/bin/suidperl if the openwebmail programm don't need it.
Other solution: edit the file openwebmail-tool.pl and replace suidperl with perl and run it as root.

2) For apache, you need the php package in the n serie. Then to have it working, edit the "/etc/apache/httpd.conf" (as root) and remove the "#" before the line "Include /etc/apache/mod_php.conf"
