Interesting. I'm not a fan of google, but that is one of the few things I use regularly that has actually worked since the massive upgrades of 21 April.
Have you tried re-installing a fresh download of both Alien Bob's chromium and chromium widevine packages.

BTW, you don't need the user agent switcher with chromium to use Netflix. Install Alien Bob's latest chromium package along with the widevine plugin with the same version number and that is all you need for Netflix.

The install is only a few days old...

I got both the plugin and the browser from Alien Bob's downloads.

How are you using the agent switcher? It is not required. Chromium with the widevine plugin is the only Linux browser with "native" support for Netflix.

I got the UA switcher after the plugin did not solve the problem.

I found a string to use on Google somewhere. Doesn't change the error.

BTW, on my Netflix account there is no option for prefer HTML5...

Apparently you have just installed Slackware 14.1 but forgot about the patches.

Slackware 14.1 has mozilla-nss 3.15.2 which is too old for Netflix and causes this particular error.
Slackware 14.1 /patches has mozilla-nss 3.16.5 which is what Netflix needs.

See this SlackDocs wiki article for a primer on package management.

Many thanks Guru. B-)

Added a reboot and wallah!
