Angry loading gui

I need help. I am a complete newbie at Linux.

I installed Slackware Linux 10.1 (successfully after about 10 reboots) and now I can log onto Linux, but not X or Xfce. I can get to the counsole, but i don't know how to open the programs.

Help ME!!!!

By the eay I did a custom install and installed GNONE, X, and XFCE, fluxbox etc. I'm running a 233 mhz pentium 2 dell latitude with 128 ram, so I know I can't use GNOME, I just need to know how to load XFCE.

Before running startx, you will also need to run xorgconfig or xorgsetup to configure your X server (I reccomend xorgsetup if you're new to Slackware, it will try and guess the configuration for your monitor and graphics card, and you can always tweak it later if need be).
