Loading in a GUI mode

I installed Mandrake 10.1 this afternoon, but am having some problems. When I load up Linux (I have duel boot system), all that comes up is a DOS like command console. How do I get the GUI interface like Windows? Sorry if this sounds stupid!

This can also be done in the Mandrake Control Center > Hardware section. You'll be asked when you setup your video card whether or not you want to start GUI automatically, select yes.
