Unfortunately ATi stopped support for this chipset in my laptop and the last version that did support it doesn't work with 13.37's version of Xorg. Guess I'm up a creek. At least it seems to run decently and will suspend-resume without locking up. 3D doesn't work at all. That's probably just as well because under 13.1 where 3D did work there were artifacts galore in just about every game I tried to play.

How did you get lilo to accept vga=0 in the append line? When I tried that lilo threw an error and stopped without updating the MBR.
