This seems to be a different problem to the other kde-3.2.1 post. I am running slack-9.1 and did not have this problem until I uninstalled kde-3.1.4 and installed kde-3.2.1

I installed kde-3.2.1 from 9.1 slackpacks at kde mirror. All seems to be working well except when I go to an IT news digest at www.australianit.com.au where konqueror freezes up and I have no keyboard/mouse functionality whatsoever.

The news comes in as an email digest. When I click an html'ised link in kmail, konqueror opens but freezes up before compeletely loading the url. If I enter www.australianit.com.au in konqueror the page will open up completely but will freeze up before it loads the news article.

This seems very site specific because I can click from the site www.news.com.au to the site www.theaustralian.com.au From there I could successfully click into several different news sections but every time I tried to go to the I.T. section from the tab at the top of the page ( australianit.com.au) I have the same thing happen.

I checked and have the same problem when trying to access the australianit site in Netscape and Mozilla which gets me wondering if its kde/konqueror, kde, or the site itself.

The one thing that i notice is that I don't see any cookie notifications/popups, which I used to get going into this site before changing to 3.2.1

If someone has had a similar problem, I'd like to know about it if you have the time to post. Also I'd appreciate knowing about the success/failure of anyone else running slack-9.1 with kde-3.2.1 (from the kde mirror) if they tried the above urls in konqueror
