Kde4 not reading Xdefaults

I've set my configuration for xterm in .Xdefaults and it works in Xfce but Kde4 seems to ignore it.

That's not what the link I posted said at all!

You just need to uncheck "apply colors to non kde applications".

Well maybe I misundertood that thread but in any case it's not working for me.
I have it unchecked.
And here is my .Xdefaults
Code:
Xterm*background: console_black
Xterm*foreground: console_white
Xterm*color0: console_black
Xterm*color1: console_red
Xterm*color2: console_green
Xterm*color3: console_yellow
Xterm*color4: console_blue
Xterm*color5: console_magenta
Xterm*color6: console_cyan
Xterm*color7: console_white
Xterm*color8: console_bright_black
Xterm*color9: console_bright_red
Xterm*color10: console_bright_green
Xterm*color11: console_bright_yellow
Xterm*color12: console_bright_blue
Xterm*color13: console_bright_magenta
Xterm*color14: console_bright_cyan
Xterm*color15: console_bright_white
xterm*faceSize: 12
xterm*geometry: 80x40+1100+300
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull
Xft.lcdfilter: lcddefault
Xft.rgba: rgb
Does it look ok?
