Kaddressbook missing Import / Export options in File Menu

I did a fresh install of slackware 15.0 and want to transfer Data from 14.2.
The File Menu in KDE Kaddressbook does not more show the Import and Export Options, as in 14.2.
Found this Problem here, reported for Neon:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432228
Do we have the same Problem here? Thanks for some hints.

Looks like the bug you linked has been fixed in kdegear 21.12.2.
Slackware 15.0 unfortunately ships kdegear 21.12.1
Slackware current right now ships kdegear 21.12.3, and i can confirm import/export are working on current.

After a long time waiting for a stable release, I did not want to install again the current version.
Found in /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kaddressbook only subdir "mainview", no dir importexportplugin.
Compiled from source /kdepim-addons-21.12.1. and simply copied resulting .so files kaddressbook_importexport*.so
to new importexportplugin directory.
Import / export functions are available now and it works!
Is this a packaging problem?

The order of compilation of the packages is what matters.
Once you recompile the kdepim-addons package on a system where kaddressbook is already installed, it will also build the "KPimAddressbookImportExport" plugin.
The fix added to kde is just adding an hard requirement on the (previously optional) kaddressbook: https://invent.kde.org/pim/kdepim-ad...8ee3a7e9c2_9_6
