k3b Slackbuild?

Is there a k3b Slackbuild around?

I need to recompile k3b with libdvd/etc installed to copy a 'certain' dvd.

Any help?

It's with the source - a copy of it may be found here.Slackbuilds for all the included software are with the source.

OK...

SlackBuilt/installed libdvdcss, libdvdplay, libdvdnav, ffmpeg, libmpeg2, and transcode, and recompiled k3b using the Slackbuild.

However, when I try to copy this DVD, I get an error about css keys.

Now what?

Actual error:
Code:
Retrieving all CSS keys. This may take a while.
Failed to retrieve all CSS keys.
Video DVD decryption failed.
Now what?

Ok...got everything to work as I wanted.

k3b was NOT the answer.

I installed k9copy, with it's dependencies (Look in Slackbuilds.org, and they are listed there)

And k9copy does the job. No muss, no fuss

And it's ALOT smaller and faster to compile/build than k3b

I know it's not FOSS, but DVDDecrypter works very well under wine.

While it may work, using that program under wine will also add many layers of possible error.

The k9copy route works.

It's fast. It's simple. And it's native. So it gets 3 votes from me...lol

I think whats missing for k3b is libdvdread. I did not see that anywhere in what you built.

Yes, I did install that, just forgot to put it in the OP.

As I said, resolved with k9copy
