ISO size

Why are the Slackware 14 ISOs so much smaller than the ISOs for other recent releases? I seem to remember someone giving a reason for this.

Time will tell what eventually will get added to the distribution, but traditionally Slackware has only included what it absolutely needs for it's main interfaces, applications, and the system as a whole.
