installing Slackware 12.2 from the first ISO disk...

guys can you help me?
i want to know how to install Slackware from the ISO Disk 1 that contains A/AP/D/E/L/N, bootable installer, kernels, Slackbook.
I dont need the KDE interface or any other software. The terminal with networking is enough for me. I just want to learn Slackware. I would appreciate if you could tell me how to do this. Right now I use Fedora 11 on my desktop and laptop.thanks.

Shove the disk in, boot from it and follow the onscreen instructions. Oh, and don't forget to read the readme's on the install cd. When you get to the point where you select which sets, just select those that are on the first disk (as you've already identified) and as we say around these parts: Bob's your Alien.

You will have everything to use slackware in terminal when installing only the first disc. But I'd recommend to load down the F-series and install, which are the FAQs and the Howtos, this will help you learning slackware. When youre system ist running and you are connected to the internet just do for example (maybe theres another mirror not as far away from you).
