installed 2.6.13 from disk 2, now the questions

I installed 2.6.13 from disk 2, modified lilo, ran lilo, I can boot into 2.4.31 and 2.6.13 with no problems whatsoever. What do I need to do to be able to modify the 2.6.13 kernel? I am used to doing the 'make menuconfig' from the kernel folder, but I can't seem to find one for 2.6.13.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Paul

You can't seem to find a linux kernel source folder for Kernel 2.6.13?

It should be in /usr/src/linux-2.6.13

However you will only have this if you installed the kernel-source package in the linux-2.3.13 directory in Slackware Disc 2. Or if you decompressed Kernel Source 2.6.13 from http://www.kernel.org.

If you have the directory (and kernel source), then make menuconfig should work.

You need the kernel-source package for 2.6.13, it's on testing/ too.
A quick link: http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/s...3-noarch-1.tgz
