how to wipe out Lilo


hello

Just in case I need to wipe Lilo off I'd like to know how to do it eather from the MBR or from Linux Super Block.. thanks

Hmmm, I would have thought that only removed the lilo app, not the lilo bootloader installed to mbr or root.

lilo -u /dev/hda will restore it to saved version of the mbr. or you can use dos boot disk and type fdisk /mbr
