how to Creat a User


about 6 months ago i ran slackware 8.1 i use to know all the commands for creating another user and other stuff but within those 6 months i lost my memory.. too much mari... so can some 1 re advise me on the commands to make a user and change its rules and stuff

my first advise is the fabulous

man

command.... that, and it's commandline
option -k ("man man" for details)

will allow you mavelous things like

man -k user

Since this outputs a bit more than a screen-
full you can narrow that down with another
excellent command: grep (man grep for details)

man -k user | grep -i add

This will only list manpages that relate to
users and have a add in the short description.
