creat MySQL database for each user ?

Hello ..

when I add users [using Yast2] i need that each one will get his/her won MySQL database then each database will be for this user and he/she can do what ever they like with it (but not dropping it) and no one can access others databases only his/her won.

is this difficult to be done in Yast2

I'm using SuSE 9.2 FTP-DVD (downloaded from suse web site).

and i'm not a pro :-)

thank you for your time.

Unless there's some plugin for yast that will do this for you, this is something you'll have to do seperately, as the OS and the SQL are two seperate programs.

Likewise, unless there's some plugin, the password used on both the DB and the OS can eventually be different unless you somehow find a way to tie in the SQL DB passwords with the OS.

2- make my own shel script

Unfortunately, that sounds about right.
