Unhappy how to change gpm driver on slack9


I just installed a fresh slack 9 on one of my machines.
I told the setup to install a microsoft intellimouse, now i get an error saying it can't find it.

how do i change it to a regular ps/2 mouse.

/etc/rc.d/rc/gpm
