Not all Slackers are American, and for them that Thanksgiving Day is an alien term.

BUT, to all American Slackers around here, starting with our BDFL, I wish a sincere Happy Thanksgiving!

It's been decades since I was a churchgoer, but they do have Harvest Festivals/services - no idea about the date though. It's not a big thing like Thanksgiving in the US.
