Now I have installed the same set of packages as you, and the error is:

gnucash-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libguile.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What now?

Regards,
Martin

O, I managed to install it!!!
The problem has been that I had the package guile-1.8.0 installed. I just had to install the package guile-1.6.7 like you. Now gnucash works!!!
Thank you very much indeed!!!

Good. I'm glad it's working for you. It is a bit of hassle to keep track of the FRG packages installed to make gnucash work, but I think it is worth it.
Regards,
Bill
