GNOME/X thingy doesnt work


ive gotten slackware to work on another computer, but when i try to run it on another computer, it doesnt work. I run "startx" and a light blue screen pops up for 1/4 of a second then everything goes black. does this have something to do with my video card? my video card is a nvidia fx 5200

you need to configure x...LIke gnashley said run xf86config as root...

After that run the command xwmconfig...and you're off!
