getting always back at X login screen

Hi all,

I am new to slackware.

Today I tried to use X.

I started it with switching to runlevel 4.

The login starts.
After that I specify the correct login and password.

It acts like I get logged in, but directly I get put back at the login again.

I don't know what is wrong. I didn't change anything.
My xorg.conf is correct.

twm is installed.

Help is very appreciated.

Greetings

Log?

Can you post a log of the x server? Like /var/log/Xorg.1.log. And also /var/X11/xinit/xinitrc.twm or ~/.xinitrc

Here you can find them:
[link removed by me]

Xorg.0.log is the xorg log file
root-xinitrc is the .xinitrc from the root user.
twm-etc is the xinitrc.twm file from /etc/X11/...
xinitrc-etc is the xinitrc file from /etc/X11/...

I thought that I maybe selected a windowmanager that I didn't have installed.

So I changed it with xwmconfig and selected twm.
Then I could login

So that was probably the problem.
