Can anyone tell me how to change the cursor in fluxbox? Cannot find anything on the net...
I did read a little bit about xsetroot but not sure how to use it (-cursor <cursor file> <mask file>, not sure what cursor file and mask file are) and if it is the right thing to use.
There are 3 cursor themes installed with the xcursor-themes-1.0.1-noarch-1 packages in /usr/share/icons:
- whiteglass
- handhelds
- redglass
I think the way to use them is create a .icons directory in your home directory if is does not exist
mkdir ~/.icons
And then, do a symlink of the cursor theme into this directory and name it 'default', for example with redglass:
ln -s /usr/share/icons/redglass ~/.icons/default
try: http://kde-look.org
Yes, I found the xcursor themes not very exciting too
Have you found that most of the themes there have very large cursors? Is there a way to resize them? I tried using ~/.Xdefaults but it seems to have no effect (I'm not even sure if you can resize all the cursors)
