Unhappy Firefox + Foxmarks crashes after last update...

I'm not sure if this only happens in Slackware, but after the newest update of Foxmarks (2.5), Firefox keeps crashing after a couple of seconds.

After disabling Foxmarks my favorite browser became stable again.

Anyone with the same problem?

I tried searching Google for this problem, but Foxmarks 2.5 was just released today, so I haven't been able to find anything.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem, and no solution (yet).

I opened a problem ticket with the guys from Foxmarks and send them some additional information, like versions of Firefox, Linux, kernel, etc...

Now there is one problem that seem to be specific to Slackware...

The Firefox crash reporter doesn't work in Slackware because of a missing library: libgconf-2.so.4

Any idea what this is supposed to do and where to get it?

Turned out to be a problem not specific to Slackware, but it is specific to Linux versions of Firefox.

More info here: http://getsatisfaction.com/foxmarks/...sword_sync_pin

They are working on a solution or work-around. For the time being, Linux users can return to the previous version of Foxmarks:

I haven't experienced any problems. I'm using Slackware 12.1, kernel 2.6.26.17 and Firefox-3.0.1.

But did you upgrade to FoxMarks 2.5?

From FoxMarks Blog I understand that it is a general problem on Linux systems.
My Firefox is 3.0.3 and my kernel 2.6.24.7.

My Foxmarks version is 2.5.0. I wouldn't've posted if I wasn't using 2.5.
