Firefox and Konqueror

Hello there,

I have little issue with firefox.

When downloading the download manager will display if a file has been downloaded.

Using right-mouse-click you have the option to open the file or the containing folder.

Question : How to connect this option with firefox and Konqueror ?

have checked the configuration files, but found nothing to set Konqueror paramters to work with Firefox as it does in Windows.

Searching the Internet was no success at all.

Anyone here have an idea how to connect Konqueror with Firefox for folder view ?

System: Slackaware 12.0 KDE, Firefox 2.0.0.6

_and_ Properties
Highlight directory name by left click and drag. ^C ( or right-click Copy) to copy.
Paste into Konqueror address bar

thanks for the tip. Already used it many times, this is why I want Konqueror to open the file automatically.

I am still looking for a way not to use the copy&past action.

As soon as I come across something I will post it here ..

hi I am back.

after some serous google actions, I found nothing of interest.
Checked Mozilla support & forums, found many interesting information about plugins, etc ....

But no reference on how to connect Konqueror with Firefox to open Folders.
The only way, as it seems, would be to write a script for firefox to fix the issue.

Starngely, I cant be the only one to look for a solution. But it seems so.

So lets get back to a script for firefox. basically, all there is to do, is to write something like :

konqueror {file/location}

Has anyone some experiences on how to write teh script and embed the script ? Some tips might be useful ........... ;-)
