I think the cdemu suite new version has something wrong about how the daemon is being loaded.
Before the update, it was just a matter of calling "/etc/rc.d/rc.cdemud start" in rc.local and
it would be available to all users.
It doesn't work like that anymore.

I created a .desktop file in "/etc/xdg/autostart" to run "cdemu-daemon start", that way all users can load it.
