I think it's due to the new sip package, pyqt need update to 4.12 with this new version, try to downgrade sip or install this alien package:

The alien package didn't work, but downgrading sip back to what is in Slackware 14.2 did!

Another reason to put Plasma 5 in -current?

Kulo widget isn't working: "Could not create a python ScriptEngine for the Kulo widget."
