compiz-fusion on current. Anything I should know?

I've been reading about compiz-fusion on current and how people are having problems and that there are issues with KDE4. I installed the latest version on current and besides plasma crashing a lot (which is a problem) it does work. I just reinstalled cause i got a new hard drive and am going to install CF soon and was wondering if there any tricks or tips I should be aware of.

I guess you mean in regards to KDE4 specifically? I have had no problems under XFCE.

Yeah, I have been reading that CF with KDE4 has issues with kwin, since kwin now naively supports compositing. I had CF running fine with 4.2.1 except for the occasional plasma crash, but I heard that CF doesn't totally integrate correctly (as of yet) with KDE4 and I am just trying to confirm that this is true.
