Its working and damn good at that!!!!!!! I'm loving Slackware more and more everyday. I need it since Microsoft about to kill support for Windows 7 and I dual boot.

Their website doesn't have a Slackware download.

Did you re-package one of the others?

What do you like about it over what Linux already offers, Clamav, rkhunter, chkrootkit etc...?

I just started using it today and have never used the ones you listed. It has a lot of features though.

Not trying to rain on your parade, really.
I have only EVER been able to update Comodo right after installing. Every other attempt to update says it is up to date no matter how many months I used it. Finally I uninstalled. I got what I paid for

Frankly I've never even considered an actual AV app for Linux with a decent firewall. I mean how would you even know if it did anything at all since afaik there are no Linux viruses? I just run rkhunter about once a month... have for almost 20 years on multiple machines, one of which for 2 years was a public Minecraft server. I have yet to ever find a rootkit or any other sort of compromise. IPTables with Tripwire r0x!

There are two update options, one for System Components and one for virus database. As you can see in the screenshots, mines is up to date with the latest. If auto update doesn't work one can always do it manually from here https://www.comodo.com/home/internet...p/database.php

I'm only testing right now but I downloaded some test viruses and it seems to do a pretty good job, even on-demand scanning is good.

After running a full virus scan on my Windows Partition + Linux Partition there was nothing found. I was sure of the outcome because I'm careful and really only visit forum sites. I'm pretty sure I don't need it but like to explore from time-to-time. I am behind 2 routers and 2 software firewalls. I should be safe but anything can happen and I'm not naive. I'll test some more later. I got to start preparing my new Slackware installation for the weekend and test my pihole server.
