check for kernel patch?

Hi.....I have slackware 10 running current but I haven't updated the kernel, it still is on 2.4.26 but there is a couple months old security changelong for it here:

http://slackware.com/security/viewer...ecurity.612137

I am not sure if my machine is patched or not nor do I know which packages I have to specifically install.......they are all .tgz so I assume I simply have to upgradepkg, then run lilo?

Do I have to install all of these?

Do swaret --update then swaret --list |more this will give you a list of packages installed on the system.
If you don't use swaret, try pkgtool or ls /var/log/packages
to check. I strongly suggest you install security patches listed in Slackware security updates if they are applicable to your system configuration.

yes on the same link you list is the following:

Installation instructions:
+------------------------+

Use upgradepkg to install the new packages.
After installing the kernel-ide package you will need to run lilo ('lilo'
at a command prompt) or create a new system boot disk ('makebootdisk'), and
